| Supporting the Health Security for New Mexicans Campaign |
In order to bring the Health Security Act to New Mexico we will have to tell our Legislators that this is
what we want. The insurance companies spend a lot of time and money lobbying our Legislators. In
order to get the change that we need we will have come often and speak with every Legislator. Votes
outweigh the influence of dollars only if there are enough votes. Stand with us so we can show our
Legislators that we mean business.
One way to get more people involved is to advertise. Most advertising is very expensive. There is
one option that is much less expensive and is reported to be very successful. We can place
messages on the rear windows of our vehicles. The pictures below are of my van. I included photos
from the outside and from the inside so you could see that it does not obstruct your vision. You can
choose smaller lettering if that would make your more comfortable. The window sign costs
approximately $80 and is most visible on dark tinted windows.
Another way of advertising is the passing of leaflets and getting petition signatures. The tools for
